DEPARTMENT OF MINERALS AND ENERGY,
PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA.
Dear Friend,
It is my great pleasure in writing you this letter on behalf of my
colleagues. Your information was given to me by a member of the
South African Export Promotion Council (SAEPC) who was with the Federal
Government delegation on a trip to your country for a bilateral conference
talk to encourage foreign investors. I have decided to seek a
confidential co-operation with you in the execution of the deal described
hereunder for the benefit of all parties and hope you will keep it confidential
because of the nature of this business
Within the Department of Minerals an Energy where I work as a
Director of Audit and Project Implementation and with the co-operation
of
two other top officials, we have in our possession as overdue
payment in US funds.
The said funds represent certain percentage of the total
contract value executed on behalf of my Department by a foreign
contracting firm which we the officials over-invoiced to the amount of
US$14.500,000.00
Dollars.Though the actual contract cost has been paid to the original
contractor,
leaving the excess balance unclaimed.
Since the present elected Government is determined to pay foreign contractors
all debts owed so as to maintain good relationship with foreign
government and non-government agencies, we include our bills for approvals
with the Department of Finance and the Reserve Bank of South Africa .
We
are seeking your assistance to front as beneficiary of the unclaimed funds,
since we are not allowed to operate foreign accounts.Details and change
of beneficiary information upon application for claim to reflect payment
and approvals will be secured on behalf of you/your company.
I have the authority of my partners involved to propose that
should you be willing to assist us in this transaction your share as
compensation will be US$3.625m (25%),while my colleagues and I receive
US$9.425m (65%) and the balance of US$1.450m (10%) for taxation and
miscellaneous expenses incurred.
The business itself is 100% safe and secure, provided you treat
it with utmost confidentiality. It does not matter whether you/your
company does contract projects as a transfer of powers will be secured
in
favour of you/your company. Also your area of specialization is not a
hindrance to the successful execution of this transaction. I have reposed
my confidence in you and hope that you will not disappoint me.
Kindly notify me for further details upon your acceptance of this proposal
at................
petermakori50e20@sify.com
Thanks for your co-operation.
Regards,
PETER MAKORI[DR].

My Dear Dr Peter,
I will be most confidential about the transaction and let no one in on the
secret. My aunt Agatha says it sounds very exciting and intriguing and asks
if I can share my wealth with her. I said to her , " Aunt Agatha, my
dear, do not be so foolish. This is my wealth and not yours. This is on
job for a lady of your standing."
My job is a model and actor. Perchance you saw me in the advert for Yum
Yum sweets (I am the third Yum Yum from the left). do you have Yum Yum sweets
in your country. I am currently modelling in this country and Hungary
What is your job Peter?
Now is the time to move Peter - let's get cracking.

| Hello Simon,
i want to thank you for your responds, the said fund was found as a result
of over invoice of contract paidmade to a foreign
contactor and the money being kept in my excoaccount where i work as director
of project implementation[owned by fiveof us]but according to the south
africa civil service code of conductdoes not allow us hetre to operate
an offshore account hence we needsomeone to starnd as beneficiary of the
fund so that we transferred themoney to his account then we come over
there and share the money.
Hence for us to actualise this objective some modality haveto be in place
like paper work so please sent down yourtelephone/fax
number so that we start discussing the modality requiredand also i want
to know whom am dealing with because as you can see willare still in active
service in my ministry[am been sellected as thespoke man for my exco member
and we are five in number so please gothrough the proposal again]we don\'t
need your money becos we alreadygotten a financial of the paper work.
please time is ofgreat excess in this transaction especially now that
my ministry istrying to pay foreign contractor that have
finish their project theirentilement.i wait for your reply soonest.

My Dear Good Friend and Partner Peter
It was so good to here from you my very good friend. I had thought that
maybe you decided, like the Catholic, to pull out at the last minute. But,
no, hear you still are my friend.
I am now very well now that my haemorrhoid problem has cleared up with a
stay in the big hospitle. I can tell you, that after this unhappiness I
already have that big smile on my face that you are speaking about. Maybe
as a doctor I should have seeked your honourable advice sir. You would know
how to handle those hemmerhoids that I was having.
These are the questions to the answers you asked for:
your name: Simon Thermopylae Burgoyne
your company name: T Burgoyne Holdings Ltd
your telephone number[if non just put than any for recognition] +44-1865-246047
- this is my office
your
account number[a viable account, does mean there must be money in the
account.that is the account is able to carry such money]. 1415926535 (actually
this is Pi)
ou have handle this can of transaction before: YES
how you married: 3 times
and how old are you: 29
do you have a company of your owned or you work: yes I work in my own company
that I created 8 years previously.
Are these all the answers you are seeking. Before carrying on though I believe
I would like to see a picture of Dr Peter Makori so I know of whom I am
dealing. I have sent my picture to you already but I get no picture back.
This is not fare at all. You know that Simon Burgoyne is an honest guy as
you have seen most of him - there you an see no dishonest bits to me, especially
the eyes are not dishonest, which you as a doctor wil know to be true..

you for you name has been sent for approval, just your bank name remaining.
Get back to me ASAP,for the mail I sent you yesterday came back, reason
I dont know but I have sent it back to you.

note: must teach Dr Makori how to use a scanner |
| 13 December 2004 15:03 |
My dear Friend peter,
Thankyou so much for semding your passport so I can see what kind of man
you are. As a doctor you will know that you can see a man's soul through
his eyes. And I can see through yours how much you can be trusted. As a
doctor you will know how good this thing is. don't you agree. Another picture
of you relaxing in your fine garden would also proof to me how much you
are a good man as I have sent to you before unless it is lossed. I think
from my photo you can see exactly how much of a trusty type of guy I am
being and if you look in to the eyes this will be proofs enough.
Your Happy Good friend

Dear Simon,
Top of the day to you. Thanks for your response, however asyou rightly suggested
for me to send for your perusal a photograph of merelaxing in my garden, that
is no problem, but one cannot be more seriousthan having his international
passport scanned to you, for that is mynational identity,am sorry that for
the moment now I cannot grant youthat wish, but for sure you will see me
in the physical the moment youtake delivery of the funds.
Please,I asked for your bank informationwhich is very vital(your bank name
and address)without which nothing canbe done, I mean absolutely nothing, and
the approval has been given inyour favour, from the information getting to
us this afternoon, soplease, kindly send down the required bank name and address, for
it wasthought that the bank name was ommitted in error.
I look forward toreceiving the information first thing tomorrow morning, secondly,
let meknow the actual time that you are in the office because i tried all
daylong to reach you via phone but to no avail.
Thanks and have awonderful day. |
